Travel brush fix:
The ferrule became loose on my Escoda travel brush, so I
cut a piece of heat shrink rubber tubing to fit over the ferrule
and the handle. I wet the brush down, used a lighter in quick sweeping
motions to not damage the hairs. It works great!!
It also acts like a rubber grip for my brush,
and it folds up with out any problems either.

Quick moon sketches.

Painting flowers as of lately, very difficult for me.
To many details, trying to simplify.
First two sketches are on Arches text wove paper
in a homemade 6"x10" sketchbook.
The last one is on Arches hot press #300 wc paper,
(1/8 sheet or 7.5" x 11"). All are painted 'en plein air'.

These three are from my 7x10 Montval WC Sketchbook.
I am so used to painting on Arches wc, this paper is sized differently and can't handle much over working or glazing. Used my brand new travel hair pencil #8 by Escoda on the last two sketches
( the no. 8 brush is the same size as my no. 6 W&N series 7 wc brush just for size comparison.)

Twin Rivers Park, PA sketch- about an hour to complete.

Sunset-Co. Rd. 7-2, Delta OH sketch- about 25 minutes to complete.

Hailey sketch- about a little over an hour to complete.
